From MAS
Having spent 2021 celebrating 100 years of MAS, we’re now taking our first steps into our second century. As we enter this new era, we’re setting some ambitious goals for the road ahead. That’s why we’ve chosen ‘journeys’ as the theme of this OnMAS issue.
In this issue, we talk to some remarkable Kiwis who have forged fascinating paths of their own. We hear from Auckland GP and writer Dr Himali McInnes, whose recent book tells some unforgettable patient stories, and from Morehu Munro, whose work in Wairoa, supported by the MAS Foundation, is setting up rangatahi in a remote town for success.
MAS is on a journey of our own as we pursue our goal of inspiring a healthier Aotearoa New Zealand while we continue to deliver the very best service we can to our Members. Sustainability is something we’re particularly committed to, and we’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far – but the work never stops.
You can find out more about our ongoing sustainability initiatives, as well as our partnership with Sustainable Business Network, in this issue.
We love hearing from our readers on what they like to see in OnMAS. Email us at onmas@mas.co.nz with your feedback or suggestions.
